Chick-fil-A is keeping its title as teens’ favorite restaurant—it took the No. 1 spot (for the third time in a row) in Piper Jaffray’s biannual survey of American teens.
Starbucks, Chipotle, Dunkin,’ and McDonald’s (respectively) rounded out the top five.
This year, the company surveyed 8,000 teens in 47 states—54 percent male, 46 percent female. Last year, all the teens surveyed preferred food to fashion. This year, however, food stayed on top for boys but fell to number two for girls.
What else are the kids into these days?
Well, it seems they’re big fans of Nike, Netflix, Ariana Grande, and Michael Kors. Snapchat beat out Instagram as the favorite social media platform, but not by much.
We don’t want to brag, but we think our chicken nugget bouquet and Chick-fil-A sauce ranking make us trendsetters—it’s NBD, though.
