GF Vegan Sugar Cookies


  • 2 cups gluten-free all purpose baking flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup vegan butter, softened
  • ¼ cup dairy-free eggnog
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (such as Frontier® Organic)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons egg substitute
  • Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).


  • Step 2

    Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl.

  • Step 3

    Beat sugar and vegan butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggnog, vanilla extract, and egg substitute; mix well. Add the flour mixture; mix dough well. Form dough into balls using an ice cream scoop. Place 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.

  • Step 4

    Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 12 minutes.

  • Cook's Notes:

    I used organic cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Use 1 large egg’s worth of egg substitute.
