Meghan Markle is a self-professed foodie and is said to have wooed Prince Harry with delicious homemade meals. Before she became a member of the British Royal Family, Meghan ran a lifestyle blog called The Tig on which she would write about travel and wellbeing as well as restaurants and food.
There’s nothing more delicious than homemade pizza and Meghan shared with fans how to make the dough by hand.
She shared a recipe for mini pizzas or “pizzette” that Tig followers drooling.
The recipe came from Danish food blog Chri Chri and was for onion pizzette with sage and goats cheese.
The pizzette is easy to make at home and doesn’t take long to prepare.

1/3 cup semolina flour
4 medium onions
2 cups wheat flour
Bunch of fresh sage
7 ounces goat cheese
4 tsp yeast
2 cups lukewarm water
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp sugar

Mix water, salt and yeast, and semolina flour and stir until the dough is soft.
Add wheat flour and stir the dough again for a couple of minutes. Add some more flour if the dough isn’t soft enough.
Knead the dough until it is smooth and let it rise to about double its size under a moist hand towel.
Prepare the onions while the dough is rising; cut them into thin slices and roast them in butter over medium heat.
Add 1 spoonful sugar and let the onion simmer until they are soft and golden (approximately 10 to 15 minutes).
Divide the dough into 8 parts, and roll each part as thin as possible.
Divide the caramelized onions onto each dough part, and add slices of goat cheese and sage.
Bake them until crispy at 425 degrees.
