Growing her own vegetables isn’t something Camilla has gotten into recently as a hobby – she grew up doing it.
She shared that when she was a little girl her family “grew everything from tomatoes and melons to peas, beans, carrots and new potatoes”.
Indeed, she recalled one of her earliest memories: podding peas and beans with her mum, Rosalind Shand.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis share this similarity with their step-granny Queen Camilla, as they grow vegetables at home too with their mum and dad Kate, Princess of Wales and Prince William.
Kate revealed that Prince Louis is a particulalry big fan of one vegetable – and it’s not peas or carrots.
Despite making a mean fish en papillote and being proud of her peaches, Camilla confessed to having some “kitchen disasters” – she “could fill a book”.
She revealed that she is “not a natural baker, to say the least”, plus she is responsible for many a “poor, incinerated” baked potato.
