INGREDIENTS

  • 2onions, chopped
  • 4tablespoonsoil
  • 3teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 3teaspoons crushed ginger
  • 1 12 teaspoonsturmeric
  • 14 teaspooncayenne
  • 1 12 teaspoonsgaram masala
  • 2teaspoonscumin
  • 1teaspoonsalt
  • 2 (400 g) tins kidney beans (rinsed)
  • 2 (400 g) cans black beans (rinsed)
  • 1 (400 g) can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 (400 g) canindian tomatoes
  • 75mlcream
  • DIRECTIONS

  • Fry onions in oil until starting to brown.
  • Add garlic and ginger.
  • Add spices.
  • Add beans and tomatoes.
  • Simmer 30 mins.
  • Stir cream through just prior to serving.
