Supermarkets offer customers a wide range of dinner meal deals where shoppers can pick up a variety of dishes for a set price. With there being so many on the market, where offers the best value for money – is it Asda, Co-op, Marks and Spencer or Tesco?
Supermarket giant Asda has a £10 mix and match meal deal where shoppers can pick up one main, one side, one dessert and one drink option.
It feeds two people although it can be bought twice to cater for larger families.
Main options include pancetta wrapped chicken breasts, steak and red wine pie as well as a delicious cottage pie and beef lasagne.
Steaks are also on the menu and they come with a pink peppercorn sauce.
For sides, foods include mini jacket spuds, triple cook chips or vegetable options like a green vegetable medley.
The pudding options are also vast with sticky toffee pudding pots, red velvet sponge cakes and lemon baked cheesecakes all included in the price.
There are alcoholic and soft drinks to pick from including wine and San Pellegrino cans.
Asda also has a Pizza Express promotion running at the moment where customers can pick up two classic pizzas, a side option as well as a drink.
Side options include dough balls and fries while drink options available include Coca-Cola and Budweiser.

Co-op also has a pizza meal deal available, calling it its “£5 Supersaver”.
Customers can pick up two pizzas and a choice of four colas or beers for just £5.
Pizza options include stonebaked margherita as well as a stonebaked pepperoni option.
This promotion is only running until June 22 though so shoppers must be quick to pick this up.
As well as this, the supermarket is also running its “£5 freezer fillers” promotion again after it proved to be a hit amongst customers.
Co-op said: “Never be stuck for a meal with our £5 Freezer Filler deal that means you can put guaranteed winners on a plate such as fish and chips for the main and ice cream for dessert. Grab your deal now and relax a little more at dinner time.”
Customers can pick up battered fish fillets as well as fish fingers, garden peas and oven chips.
This deal will also be available in stores until June 22.
Marks and Spencer
Upmarket M&S launched a brand new meal deal yesterday, called Little Italy, replacing its Chicken Feast offer.
For just £15, customers can pick up four main meals as well as four extras which consist of starters, sides and pudding options.
Marks and Spencer said this deal can offer a saving of around £13 if shoppers were to purchase each food item separately.
Main options include delicious pizzas like Sloppy Joe, Pollo Picante as well as plant-based options.
Customers must be quick though as the feast meal deal is only available until July 13 before the menu will change.
The deal will run alongside Marks and Spencer’s Dine In for two, which costs £10 for a main, side and dessert or starter.
Marks and Spencer also recently added more choices to its Plant Kitchen vegan range, including a meal deal for just £8.
Similar to the other supermarkets, Tesco is offering customers a meal deal for just £10.
Shoppers can pick up one main, one side, one pudding and a drink included in the price.
Main meals included in the deal are chicken Cabernet Sauvignon, pesto and parmigiano breaded chicken, beef lasagne, ranch steaks with garlic butter and chorizo Mac and cheese.
The side options available include peas, leeks and pancetta, chunky chips, potato dauphinoise, and rosemary roasted parmentier potatoes.
What’s more, customers can pick from a delicious range of puddings.
These include Belgian chocolate profiteroles, chocolate and orange cheesecake slices, vanilla cheesecake slices and chocolate and salted caramel pots.
For those looking for a takeaway style meal without the price tag, The Pizza Company Meal Deal is also sold in Tesco stores.
This allows you to buy two large pizzas, two sides and one dips stacker for just £10.
Pizzas include pepperoni, cheese, bbq chicken bonanza and buffalo chicken.
Dirty fries, cajun onion rings, chicken pops and seasoned potato wedges as well as dough balls are all part of the side options as well as the hot chocolate fudge cake for a sweet treat.
The supermarket giant also recently launched an exclusive Pizza Express meal deal into stores, costing just £8.
