Trader Joe's is recalling two egg products, Egg White Salad and Old Fashioned Potato Salad, for potential listeria contamination. The recall is related to a larger recall from Almark Foods of hard-cooked egg products, issued in response to a food safety alert from the CDC on December 18, that found these products were likely associated with a Listeria outbreak. At the time of publication, there had been seven reported cases—including one death and four hospitalizations.
