Amazon announced this morning that it's ditching its $14.99 monthly fee for Amazon Fresh for Prime members across 2,000 cities and towns in the U.S. This means Prime members will now receive unlimited free 1- or 2-hour grocery delivery from both Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market. Now you can have dinner waiting at your doorstep at the end of a long day!
"Prime members love the convenience of free grocery delivery on Amazon, which is why we've made Amazon Fresh a free benefit of Prime, saving customers $14.99 per month," said Stephenie Landry, vice president of grocery delivery in a press release. "Grocery delivery is one of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon, and we think this will be one of the most-loved Prime benefits."
