The eggnog comes from Germany and is reportedly best paired with creme brûlée, strawberry shortcake, or some mixed berries. To really get into the spirit, you can also just have at it on its own while cozied up in a blanket and watching a holiday movie.
Aldi’s sweet, sweet deal seems to be the cheapest alcoholic eggnog around. Based on the looks of it, though, Sam’s Club and Costco’s bottles seem bigger and they both have a higher ABV. That said, it feels like all of them should be tried, right? It only makes sense to buy all of them and compare who’s selling the best one. Sorry, I don’t make the rules!
If you really want to have control over your ‘nog, you can always try making it yourself. That way, you’re handling all of the ingredients and the amount of each in the drink.
