Caroline Flack weight loss: Love Island host shed 1st with this plan – what did she eat?

Caroline Flack began her career starring in Bo’ Selecta! 17-years ago and has since made a name for herself as a presenter. During her career, Caroline has worked on shows including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW!, The X Factor and Love Island. In recent years, the star has been through a huge weight loss transformation which has seen her slim down by over one stone. To achieve her impressive transformation, Caroline cut one thing from her diet and added in regular exercise.

What does she eat?

She may have a busy career, but the presenter still makes sure to fit in staying in shape.

Kicking off her weight loss with a 12-week detox, the star slimmed down by over a stone and managed to keep the weight off.

As part of the detox, Caroline gave up alcohol and cut sugar from her diet altogether.

After losing weight, she revealed: “I went really hard with my detox. I probably went a little overboard because I was really strict in those 12-weeks.

“But cutting sugar made the most difference to my body. It’s the devil. It’s addictive and it’s in so many things you would’t even think of.”

By steering clear of sugar, Caroline naturally began to make better choices and stopped eating other unhealthy foods.

Sugar is found in a surprising amount of foods so checking the label carefully meant the host was forced to make healthier choices.

“Sugar is put in sauces, breads and yoghurts. It’s not always obvious but so many things are packed in sugar,” she said.

Although she used a strict diet to initially lose weight, the Love Island host explained it did not restrict how much food she ate.

Caroline said: “Breakfast is a huge meal for me. I have eggs, avocado and bacon. I try to avoid bread or fruits and vegetables high in sugar, like tomatoes.”

As well as eating healthy, Caroline uses regular exercise to keep the pounds off.

She said: “I don’t calorie count. I like to eat a lot to fuel me for a big day or a good workout.

“For me, exercise isn’t just to look good. It really relaxes me and helps me de-stress.”
