Michelle Pfeiffer, 62, looks amazing for her age with long blonde hair and clear skin. However speaking to Lorraine this morning on ITV, the actress shared how eating healthy and exercise is the key to looking youthful. 

In the past, Michelle revealed that the was following a plant-based diet but switched back to a balanced diet packed with lean meats, fruits, fish and vegetables.

Speaking with Lorraine this morning, the presenter asked: “You look so great, we’d love to know the secret…is there a secret? Or is it just luck with those cheekbones?”

The actress replied and said: “It’s what nobody really wants to hear…it’s that you have to eat right, you have to exercise, you have to get sleep.”

Getting enough sleep each nice is crucial in maintaining a healthy diet and poor sleep is a major risk for weight gain.

One study also found that sleeping too little prompts people to eat bigger portions of food.

An adult should be sleeping around six to nine hours each night according to the NHS.

Michelle added: “We’re always looking for that magic bullet and they don’t exist and you know when I’m not working, I’m giving myself a little more leeway.

“When I’m not on camera, I’m not eating so good and having a little too much wine and I look like it.”

Michelle regularly posts photos raising a glass of wine with her husband David E. Kelley.

She added: “That’s the secret, that’s the big secret, is that there is no secret.”

Lorraine replied: “Just eat well and take care of yourself, and we’re all trying to do that right now, it’s tough times isn’t it.”

Michelle also regularly posts exercise snaps on her Instagram, sharing her favourite exercises.

One post showed the actress walking fast on her treadmill, while another showed her on a walk outside.

Walking is a great exercise for burning calories and it is said that just 30 minutes of brisk walking a day could burn about 150 more calories. 

Fans rushed to the comments to share their thoughts on how great the star looked.

One person wrote: “You look so good omg!”

Another said: “How does your skin look like that after a workout?”

A third commented: “You’ve motivated me to do a workout now.”

Michelle also previously told Good Housekeeping that her favourite food in the world was Mexican.

She added: “I could live on chips and salsa. I would take a Mexican meal over some fancy French cuisine anytime.”

Mexican food like guacamole and salsa are great foods to add to the diet because they are packed with nutrients.
