While the 33-year-old singer is mindful of what she eats, she does let her nine-year-old son Angelo have treats including “sugary cereal”. Providing a rare insight into her diet, as part of Vogue’s famous 73 Questions series, the Grammy-winner shared an insight into the kinds of foods she eats in order to stay trim.
In the video, Adele could be seen carrying paper bags of shopping into her kitchen before happily unpacking what she had purchased on camera.
Standing in the middle of her stylist kitchen – complete with chic teal cupboards and an incredible marble island – the star explained that the food she had purchased was a little healthier than usual.
The mum-of-one unpacked lots of healthy items, including butternut squash, peppers, onions, coriander, leeks, courgettes and avocados.
The host of the video asked her: “Am I looking at a typical grocery run from Adele?”
The singer was keen to offer a true insight into what she eats and made it clear that what she buys varies from day to day.
Adele explained: “Yes and no – this looks super duper healthy because I’m
making a vegetable soup tonight.”
The mum-of-one shared that she often has snacks like cereal in her grocery shopping.
She said: “But normally I have some cereal, some sugar cereal, for my son and stringy cheese he loves, and milkshakes and things.”
The singer, who has lost four stone, explained that she takes a mindful approach to what she consumes.
She explained: “But kind of yeah, I watch what I put in my body these days.”
In May of last year, Adele left the world in shock when she emerged 100Ibs lighter, looking absolutely gorgeous in a black minidress.
The star looked completely unrecognisable after her major weight loss.
Until recently, the mum had not openly spoken about her weight loss.
For the first time, she recently addressed her transformation and what the driving force behind it was.
Explaining that it was a two-year process that began due to her feelings of anxiety.
She said: “It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better.
“It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone.
“I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.”
Adele reguarly shares snaps of herself on her Instagram profile.
The singer keeps fans updated about her weight loss transformation via the platform.
