F45 Challenge: Healthy way to lose body fat in eight weeks

A woman has shared before and after pictures of her incredible weight loss transformation. She explained changing her diet and exercise plan helped her lose weight quickly.

Ruby, from London, first made a step towards transforming her lifestyle when she signed up for a fitness class.

She was inspired to take part in the group by a friend and soon became a regular at her local F45 studio in Shepherds Bush.

While she often worked out at the classes, Ruby couldn’t lose weight with exercise alone.

Struggling with her diet plan meant she was not seeing the results she hoped for.

After six months of classes, the dieter decided it was time to make a change for good.

What diet plan did she use?

Ruby signed up for the eight week challenge which is run by F45.

Those who take part in the challenge combine a healthy diet plan with regular exercise.

Tipping the scales at 14st 4lb, Ruby knew it was time to dedicate herself to the transformation.

The F45 website describes the plan, stating: “The F45 Challenge is a nutrition and training program focused on holistic well-being.

“The combination of F45’s style of training and the challenge meal plans are designed to help members transform their lives over the eight week period.”

Ruby was helped to find a healthy diet plan and learned how to prepare her meals in advance.

Doing this allowed her to stay on track and she explained she noticed results in just a few weeks.

On the plan, slimmers focus on eating healthy foods that are high in protein.

Eating high protein meals can help slimmers feel fuller for longer and help muscle growth, according to Elliott Upton, personal trainer at Ultimate Performance.

He told Express.co.uk: “Every body transformation client at Ultimate Performance is advised to eat a good source of protein at every meal. The primary reason is to do with body composition.

“If we are looking to achieve a lean and muscular aesthetic when losing weight, we want to only lose fat but preserve the muscle we have.

“Protein is really satiating. This means it will help you feel full for a lot longer.”

By changing her diet, Ruby soon noticed her clothes fit better and she had more energy.

As well as transforming her figure, she said her confidence improved and she felt happier in herself.

The dieter managed to slim down by 1st 12lb to a healthy 12st 6lb.

Ruby also dropped two dress sizes and went from a size 16 to size 12.
