Fruit pizza!

Thanks to Crock Pot Girl, Welderwoman, henjim, and The “Hart” of the kitchen ?, I was able to know what to put on my fruit pizza! Thank you guys! Make sure to follow them and check out their recipes!

This fruit pizza is something I decided to make in the past few days. I’m using my grandmas sugar cookie recipe for the crust and a homemade cream cheese frosting for the sauce. The toppings are kiwis, strawberries, blueberries, and cherries (optional). You need to make sure that your cloves fruit is FRESH! It’s very important! The type of fruit you select to put on your fruit pizza is up to you. This recipe just gives you a general idea. Although this recipe sounds difficult, this recipe is super easy!

Ingredients

  1. For the crust:
  2. 2 1/2 cup flour
  3. 1 1/2 cup sugar
  4. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 14 tablespoons butter (1 3/4 sticks)
  7. 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 2 eggs (large)
  9. For the “sauce”:
  10. 12 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  11. 7 1/2 tablespoon butter (softened)
  12. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  13. 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  14. For the toppings:
  15. Strawberries
  16. Kiwis
  17. Blueberries
  18. Cherries
  19. And any fruits you want

Steps

  1. For the crust:

  2. Beat the butter and sugar together

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla

  4. Add dry ingredients

  5. Cool dough for 20 minutes

  6. For the “sauce”:

  7. Mix together all the ingredients

  8. For assemble and bake:

  9. Preheat oven to 350 and bake pizza crust on an un greased cookie sheet for 17-20 minutes

  10. Let the pizza crust cool then spread the “sauce” on top

  11. Top with your fruits and vegetables and

  12. Enjoy!
