Methi chicken

Ingredients

  1. 900 gms chicken
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tsp haldi
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1 chopped onion, whole gram masala, dalchin,laung, green Elachi
  7. 1 tsp garam masala, 1tsp kasuri methi, 1 coriander powder,
  8. Fresh methi leaves 1 cup

Steps

  1. Marinate chicken

  2. Marinate for 1 hour

  3. Heat half oil

  4. Add whole gram masala, cinnamon sticks, green cardamom, and laung

  5. Add 1 chopped onion

  6. Fry till pinkish brown colour

  7. Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  8. Add 1 tbsp crushed green chillies

  9. Now add marinated chicken

  10. Saute well on medium flame

  11. Add 1 tsp kasuri methi, 1 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp garam masala mix everything well

  12. Add 1 cup water mix well

  13. Cover the lid and cook for 10 to 15 minute

  14. We have to dried the chicken completely

  15. Add methi leaves or fenugreek leaves

  16. Mix everything well and cover the lid leave for dum 5 minute

  17. Methi chicken is ready to serve
