Moist Banana Bread


  1. 1/2 cup butter, softened
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1/2 cup white sugar
  4. 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  5. I tsp vanilla
  6. 1 1/2 cups flour
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
  8. 1 tsp baking soda
  9. 1 tsp cinnamon
  10. 1 cup ripe mashed bananas
  11. 1/2 cup sour cream


  1. Preheat over to 350°. Grease a load pan and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, stir together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon and stir into the butter/sugar mixture until smooth. Finally, fold in the sour cream and mashes bananas. Spread evenly into prepared loaf pan.

  3. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into several center spots comes out clean. Store covered.
