I wanted to show a good recipe of prawn roast for quite a long time..Finally here i am sharing you my version of keralan prawn roast, it is spicy, aromatic and so yummy..

- Coconut Oil – 3 tblspn
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds / Kaduku –
- Curry leaves a small handful
- Onion – 1 large chopped finely
- 3 Green Chillies slitted
- 1 tbsp- Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Chilli Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal podi
- 1 tbsp Homemade Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp Pepper Powder
- Salt as required
- 20-25 Prawns
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Take all ingredients for prawns and mix well. Set aside and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
Now heat oil in a pan, add in mustard. Add in curry leaves and mix well.Add in onions, chillies and salt. Saute till onions is well browned. Now add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
Now add prawns and coat this well in the masala for few mins. Now cook this on low heat for couple of mins.
Now increase the heat and brown the prawns till it is completely roasted.
Serve hot with rice.
