Sausage and Cabbages in Tomato Sauce

A delicious low-carb meal.


  1. 1 pound smoked sausage
  2. 1/4 cup liquid smoke
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 head green cabbage
  5. 1/2 head purple cabbage
  6. 30 ounces tomato sauce


  1. Remove the casing from the sausage. Cut the cabbage into chunks. Add to a pot with liquid smoke and salt.

  2. Add the green cabbage and tomato sauce. Stir and bring to a simmer.

  3. Slice the sausage on a bias. Add to the Cabbages.

  4. Cover and allow to cook for 25-30 minutes. Stir and break the cabbage pieces up. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
