Sourdogs came about when I was still in school. I love whole grain mustard and pickle sandwiches. I would eat them when I came home from school. Then one day I added a hotdog, the rest is history. I still eat just the mustard and pickle sandwiches. I love the whole grains popping in my mouth as I eat it.
- 1/2 pound hotdogs
- 4 slices bread
- 4 teaspoons old world whole grain mustard or more
- 12 slices dill pickle chips
- As needed water
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- As needed pickle chips serve on side
Fry the hotdogs till caramelized. Add water cover and boil till plumped. Don’t cook till they split.
Lightly add mayonnaise to the bread slices. Then the pickle chips.
Add hotdogs and mustard. Serve I hope you enjoy!!
