Taco Pie

Ingredients

  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 1 package Pillsbury crescent rolls
  3. 1 cup sour cream
  4. 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  5. 1 cup crushed nacho cheese Doritos
  6. 1 packet taco seasoning

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Line a pie plate with the crescent rolls, pinch seams together to make your pie crust

  3. Brown your beef and drain the grease

  4. Add taco seasoning according to the instructions on the packet

  5. Add your taco meat to the pie as the bottom layer

  6. Spread a layer or sour cream on top of the beef

  7. Generously cover the sour cream with a layer of shredded cheese

  8. Add a layer of the crushed Doritos

  9. Cover the rim of your pie plate with aluminum foil so your crust doesn’t burn

  10. Bake for 20 minutes in your preheated oven

  11. After the 20 minutes add another thin layer of shredded cheese and remove the foil to allow the crust to bake golden brown

  12. Pop it back in the oven for 4 minutes then let it cool and serve with lettuce and salsa if you’d like
