Queen Camilla likely has sampled some of the finest cuisine in the world, however some of her favourite meals are super simple and affordable.<\/p>\n
In conversation with Tom Parker Bowles – a food writer, food critic and Camilla’s own son – for You Magazine, the royal shared her relatable foodie habits.<\/p>\n
Despite her extraordinarily busy schedule, Queen Camilla spends a fair amount of time in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
She told You Magazine all about her favourite things to cook, and it seems the Queen puts nutrition and ease first.<\/p>\n
Camilla revealed: “I do still cook for myself when at home. Simple things like fish en papillote with butter and herbs.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Growing her own vegetables isn’t something Camilla has gotten into recently as a hobby – she grew up doing it.<\/p>\n She shared that when she was a little girl her family “grew everything from tomatoes and melons to peas, beans, carrots and new potatoes”.<\/p>\n Indeed, she recalled one of her earliest memories: podding peas and beans with her mum, Rosalind Shand.<\/p>\n Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis share this similarity with their step-granny Queen Camilla, as they grow vegetables at home too with their mum and dad Kate, Princess of Wales and Prince William.<\/p>\n Kate revealed that Prince Louis is a particulalry big fan of one vegetable – and it’s not peas or carrots.<\/p>\n Despite making a mean fish en papillote and being proud of her peaches, Camilla confessed to having some “kitchen disasters” – she “could fill a book”.<\/p>\n She revealed that she is “not a natural baker, to say the least”, plus she is responsible for many a “poor, incinerated” baked potato.<\/p>\n
